Accomplished executive and veteran of the design, advertising, digital media, technology and Internet industries with extensive experience in marketing, sales, strategic development, operations and executive management in a career spanning nearly three decades. I am particularly interested in understanding how leadership manages the social shifts that come from an increasingly digitized society and how that affects customers, business and our macro economy.
Currently I am Chief Digital and Design Officer Barclays Africa Group (JSE: BGA) where I have been tasked to lead and build a strategic design capability across the 10 country group and to help drive the business to become more customer centric. In addition to the group Design role, I am Chief Digital Officer for our Retail and Business Bank.
I sit on various group Executive Committees including Group Technology Exco, Group Brand Council and the Digital Exco.
